Excellent Doctor. He have done sigmoid colon surgery of my mother very successfully.He did it without colostomy bag arrangements.which is common in this type of surgery. He always describe all the matters relating to treatment. Very friendly and helpful in nature.

One of the best surgeons we have ever come across. My mother underwent surgery of tumour in the colon, by him. We are more than satisfied by the way he did the operation, treated and dealt with my mother during post operative period. His amicable, affable and encouraging nature certainly helps the patients heal much quicker and lead them speedily to the road to recovery. One of the best doctors I have ever come across. I remember the first thing that my mother told after coming out of surgery and seeing me was that the doctor is very good. That were her exact words and I think that says a lot about him. A truly gem of a person who not only treated my mother but also guided us well. Apart from his skills and professionalism which is remarkable, its his endearing humility which sets him apart from others. We consulted Dr. Chakrabarti for my father in law's treatment, and he is currently under his observation post his surgery and radiation treatment. We went to him because of his reputation and a reference from a very close relative (who himself is a Doctor), and we were not disappointed. I found Dr. Chakrabarti to be a very affable person, who not only assuaged our concerns but took time to speak to us patiently while we were calling him from Canada before the surgery. The surgery went really well and we got good care from him and his team at Apollo hospital. We wish him all the best and hope that he continues to help people in need.
