We went here first time for a family dinner and had a lovely time and a wonderful experience with delicious food, good ambience. The staff was very friendly and very polite. Everybody should visit this place atleast once for sure.

Ambience- very basic, doesn't look like it is a Swissotel - utterly unattractive seating area Food- Pathetic- both choice of food and quality is very poor. it is absolute waste of hard earned money. We took three course meal, which was a very poor combination of mostly veg items with 2 only non veg items. Starter was only three pieces, and dessert was only two items [see picture] taste was abysmal. I am shocked getting such a poor quality form a Swissotel, compared to HHI, The Lalit, Kenilworth, The Astor, Oh Calcutta, I will give this restaurant a mere one in a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the poorest mark. Even the Wedesi, at Camac Street restaurant is having far better quality and variety of food. Their three course meal does not include any cold drinks and a glass of mocktail costs 450, the entire meal costs 2000. What a pathetic waste of money. Also on a sunday lunch time i find only two tables are occupied, that means the restaurant doesn't have a lot of customers, so i doubt the quality of the food. Never Eever visit this pathetic place

A very cozy place to visit with family and friends. I’ve tried it too many times now, so here are my 2 cents: Pros: 1. Good valet parking option at swissotel. Also has entry via CC2. 2. Very courteous staff - highly recommended. 3. Having tried almost everything on their menu, the highly recommended ones are: - Murgh Ke Parchey (must try) - Dal Durbari - Durbari raan (long wait - order before arrival) - Home style chicken curry - Kosha mutton - Amritsari Kulcha Cons: 1. Some sections of the restaurant gets pretty cold; don’t hesitate to request for temperature suiting your need. 2. Waiting time for food ... if you are very hungry, try kfc 3. Always found small bugs at the top left corner (from entry door) table - but changing to another table was a breeze. Personal recommendation: - If you don’t eat too much (in volume), go for a-la-carte (not the buffet) - Great for a small group (not recommended for a big group of ppl) Overall - highly recommended.

A fine dining restaurant, courtesy Swissotel. With an Indian cuisine in menu, Durbari aims to bring some signature authentic Indian food on your table. There are options of both a-la-carte and "set" menu. Its a bit different from a buffet. Set menu was priced at 1500 per person for veg and 1800 for non-veg. We went for the a-la-carte and ordered the following: 1. Vegetarian Kebab Platter - With a mixture of Dahi Kebab, Bharwan Aloo, Paneer TIkka an Hariyali Ankur ki Kebab. All the items in the platter tasted good. I personally liked the Paneer Tikka and Dahi Kebab. Rest were okayish. 2. Jumping to the main course, we ordered their signature dishes, Subz Bahar, Dal Durbari and Paneer Durbari for the veggies and Swiss Cheese Naan, Garlic Naan and Masala Kulcha for the breads. ALL the veggies tasted perfect, especially the Dal Durbari. They served the dal in a bowl, which is seldom found anywhere else. The breads were also crispy but burnt in most of the cases. Special Mention: Some of our guests joined in later and we asked the waiters to warm the remaining veggies a bit. But they brought back extra veggies (all of them) so that they can devour the veggies whole-heartedly. This was an amazing gesture. Thanks to Durbari. The ambience and staff are both great. Slow music being played to soothe your ears. They have a choicest selections of both imported and domestic wines. Very overpriced given the fact that a plate of biriyani costs over a 1000 bucks. The overall experience was great, given the soothing ambience and staff courteousness.
