Most ordinary taste bust priced very high. However this is a hygienic place to have. We can get much better taste elsewhere at lower price.

One of the renowned authentic bengali restaurants in kolkata, they served moderate amount of food items which are really toothsome. Pricing is reasonable something it's in the higher range for some non-veg dishes. We ordered non-veg thali comes with 12 items starting from vat, bhaja, dal, sabji, fish, chicken, desserts as well. All items are good except the mocher dhonto(seems spoiled). Other items like sukto, fish kalia, polao and chicken are really delicious. Service is great. Ambience is full of bengali touches around the wall of restaurant. Inner space is moderate, can fit 30 persons. Really loved the ambience and having such foods feels awesome.

It was a good experience , however it would be nice if you improved the quality of the food. The best thing I liked is Daab ice-cream.

The experience we had was not at all good. We went there on a Sunday at 12 pm and the first thing that struck us was the roof. It was very low. Very very low. On the second floor I was not able to stand straight because I would hit the roof. I am a 5'11" and it was not a good thing. The waiter served us water and papad in the beginning. Then comes the food. We ordered a thali, the non-veg thali... We got a bowl of rice. Some potato fry and one one piece of brinjal fry. There was also a bowl of the following items : shukto ( not very decent), moong dal ( not cooked properly), chhanar dalna ( the gravy and the chhana balls were very sweet), one bowl of pulao, katla kalia ( one piece and the fish was deeply fried and tasted bitter), mangsho ( two very small pieces of mutton with the gravy being very spicy and full of oil), chutney ( cold, they probably got it our of the refrigerator and served us), Rasogolla ( one piece, tasted good) and one papad and salad ( onion and carrot). I must mention not a single dish tasted at least nice. They were very much regular, in most of the cases bad. All the dishes were cold. Not a singl of the dishes were fresh. They must have been made a day before. In the bill we saw that they charged one bottle of packaged drinking water 35 rupees with 5% GST. These bottles cost only 20 rupees ..

Great food. Great hospitality. The place is a bit cramped but properly managed.

Mutton kosha was good. However, polao was of average quality. Interior decoration is nice.

Yesterday we visited Koshe Kosha's 15th outlet in Golpark and the food was literally amazing. We had ordered Basanti Pulao, Mutton Kosha, Plain rice, Maccher matha diye daal, alu bhaja, papad and we weren't disappointed at all. The quantity was amazing and so was the taste of the food. Even the was very reasonable. Authentic bengali food is something that real Bengalis care for, a lot and Koshe Kosha should be applauded for their work at keeping the Bengali culture and cuisine alive.
