Lions Blood Bank is given good (24/7) service. All the Groups are available but if you want B Group (most rare) blood then you should contact with them before OT, the Monday is better option for the B Group. Because every Sunday held blood donation camp, so Monday is better for B Group. It is a little disadvantage that they are not given ice storage facilities for carrying.

All Staffs are very helpful.. I reached at 7.45 PM and took blood from them they wait for me until 7.45 . if you want B blood group blood then you have to at first contact then you can come.. If anybody take blood from shop without blood card them it will cost 1200.. and if anybody will take blood with blood donation lions card with address of this place then it will cost only 200 rs..

First time came here after hearing good reviews. I need o rbc con. Urgently as Father is suffering from heart attack. I came here at 7:45 pm from howrah as blood unavailable almost every places. After reaching i showed them all paper and requested them to provide blood immediately. First they took my paper and interested to give me blood , but suddenly someone from inside shouted he became very tired today and unable to perform sample test, and suddenly staffs at counter started to annoying, they entired in the room and came after 10 minutes and told me they are unable to give me blood , it will perform next day morning. Already it is been very late they are very tired today, need to go home . I told them it is very urgent as Doctor requisited as early as possible and I am also came with in time. But he said if I came 7:30 pm then also he returned me back. Because one man's life is not important than their own interest. They started behave rudely. From their I enquired 3 more places and they said blood unavailable. Hope Father do well in the night. Lastly, again people of this state showed their work culture where they have the blood which can save one's life but not given as they were very tired and need to go home in time where as I reached thier center at 7:45 pm and their closing time is 8 pm.
