I recently found this place. A beautiful sight as you see the river bulging at one end of the dam and flowing down the other side. Standing on the bridge you see the forest and not-so-high mountains, you become one with nature.

Koodal kadav check dam is a super tourist spot in Waynad district. If u r visiting Kuruvadweep then u can take left turn to koodalkadav. No entry or parking fee. 2metre height weirs connected by concrete platform over weirs makes a pathway. U can swim on either up and downstreams.

A wonderful experience in koodal kadavu check dam . Koodalkadavu check dam located at Dasakkara exactly the first right diversion after the Dasakkara bridge . Koodalkadavu naturally beautiful location and wonderful bathing experience in the river little adventure experience because of sloping rocks no ticket is there. one of best place for river bathing
