You can see the Chaliyar river in full form and the catchment area of Oorkkadavu Bund from here. The this is a favourite place for local for fishing, canoeing and swimming. But the waters are quite deep nearer to the bund and also risky. But the scenary during both sunrise & sunset is quite spectacular.
