Head over to this tiny place for some authentic Italian pasta. The staff is courteous and service is prompt. They cook right before your eyes and it is very hygienic.

La Pasta isn’t a place that you would expect to find the delicious pasta served up. The home made fresh pasta (egg based) they make could go with any of their sauces and is surely a must-try. However, when you’re in a coastal city like Pondicherry, you’d expect fresh sea food and so, we were rather disappointed to find that the prawns in the pasta were frozen. We were surprised by the number of vegetarian options they had and enjoyed the pesto. In the heat of Pondicherry, La Pasta’s home made iced tea is a good thirst quencher and their nannari drink was perfectly balanced. The quality of food was all in all, a pleasant surprise.

Amazing place..great ambience. Scrumptious food..the salad was very fresh and light..they use authentic cheese..the pasta was also very great.. lovely hosts..sweet people..worth visiting. Totally recommend to all food lovers.

Italian food at it best...Husband and wife run the restaurant...They prepare food in front of you...Used all local ingredients but made in Italian way.....While preparing I observed a lot of importance given to hygienic way of preparing....It was awesome...I suggest when you visit this place don't compare it with Indian pallates...just enjoy something new...
