Beautiful ambience, attentive staff and the best part was starters (Dahi ke kebab, to be specific). Unfortunately, main course was not on par with other delicacies on the menu considering the price tag they come with. That being said, the overall experience was satisfactory. Do visit this place if you are really into Awadhi cuisine and want to enjoy a date/family dinner in a restful atmosphere.

My love for Awadhi cuisine, and especially the epic lucknowi biryani forced me to brave the perils of travelling during a pandemic and make an impromptu solo trip to Lucknow. I found Lebua, after a few google searches and promptly booked my stay for a few nights. No sooner than having reached, I found that the hotel came stocked with a quaint little restaurant called Azrak. It was 10:30pm by the time I had checked in, and the restaurant staff looked like they were wrapping up their Sunday night dinner service, but the privileges of being an ‘in-house guest’ quickly manifested into a fabulous plate of sheermal and boti kebab. Both were smashing! and if it isn’t too much of a stretch, possibly some of the tastiest boti kebabs I’ve had. As any foodie is, I too was most keen to try the plethora of street food Lucknow had to offer. But little did I expect that some of my fondest meals would be had at Azrak. It was bittersweet & anti climactic, there was barely any drama in my story, but it was true.y Over the next couple of days, I managed to eat some incredible Doodhi pulao, galauti kebabs and a very creative narangi ki kulfi. The food at Azrak was exquisite, the service was pretty great too, but it got crowded and noisy very fast. Choose a table outside, weather & mosquitoes permitting. I’d happily go back to Lucknow just for Azrak and Idrees alone, if nothing else.
A complete package of royalty and awadhi food and culture. This is the best example of most authentic taste of Lucknavi food. The service, arena, ambience everything is just perfect.
Very disappointing. I tried reserving the table before arriving (on the call) but was told the place serves on 'first come first serve' basis. So arrived anyway only to be told that (despite the place being half empty)we should have reserved a table beforehand. This was then followed by another series of unprofessional and unhospitable mannerism of menu issues & some main signature dishes not being available. All this could have simply been avoided by clearly stating to me on the first call itself - that their place was booked for the evening. I definitely did not expect this from Azrak. Thumbs down.
Beautiful on a sunny winter day Spaghetti and fish n chips were great like always Not really crowded but Better to make a reservation Old lucknow charm
Azrak is a great upscale place at the Saraca estate. The interiors are subtle and classy and there is open as well as closed seating available and the food is tasty as well, i quite liked it. The service is quick and staff is really polite and courteous. the place is a bit pricy. There is ample parking space available. Great place for family dinner or a date.
One of the best Indian restaurants I have come across. I had buffet which was like perfect. Every dish was outstanding. It's a heritage property with a very nice ambience.
If you are looking for luxury and romantic place then Azrak is the answer. Azrak is a restaurant that serves Indian/Mughlai food. Its inside Lebua, a century old Kothi has been converted into a heritage property. It serves traditional cuisine. Every food items are beautifully served. Staff and service is great. The overall food quality is 10/10 but on a costlier side.
