Nice historical place near padmanabhaswamy Temple
Had a great opportunity to get into the temple like this ️
nice historical place to visit..
Kuthira malika Palace is the former royal residence located very near to the Sree Padmanabha swamy temple. Its a museum now showing the history of the travancore royal family along with antiques and artists from the kingdom. There is a guided tour of the palace cum museum. The ticket costs are Rs 50 for the palace and another Rs 20 for the photo gallery.
Located beside the padmanabhaswamy temple and very old palace. If you are an history enthusiast you should definitely visit this. The fine wooden carvings and their architecture is just awesome. There is a picture gallery too beside it which accommodates pictures from royal family, life back then and many famous personalities.
The Travancore "temple museum" is a beautiful building rich in extraordinary carvings and fine carpentry. (Better name is wooden palace)
This palace is a museum, you can see the old stuffs used by maharaja of Kerala. This palace is situated near to Sree Padmanabha Swami temple. There’s fees for entering in to the palace. And once we entered there’s guide he’ll give us all the details of stuffs. There is also photo gallery of old Maharajas. it’s good place to visit with family and friends. The only problem is they won’t allow us to take photos inside the palace. As they won’t allow us to take photos I don’t have any photo of inside. Everyone should visit there !!
