I trained in Kelkar Academy for 4 years in my school life. These 4 years were filled with a rigorous combination of 1. Footwork One of the most important skill you need to cover the court smartly in order to reach each and every shuttle 2. Various combinations Combinations like ‘Toss smash drop’ , ‘4 points’ , ‘drop net lift’ really made my basic stepping and strokes very strong The concept of the “chair” was very beneficial to us 3. Unorthodox practice Playing with boys and players better than me gave me a “give my best I have nothing to lose” attitude. With many more things like these I managed to win multiple matches for my college team as well as win my corporate company matches . I recently won the women’s singles title in an open badminton tournament in Bangalore. Highly recommend this academy for beginners
