This church along with primary school, provided quality education in the past. This was the only educational institute in this rural area in recent past. Students from remote places, in the radius of about 7km attended school there. The school has closes now. Only church is there. Opens on sunday only.

One of the Oldest Church situated at Madhopur, Rasra, Ballia In own era it was one of the best mission school including Hostel in radius of 75 Km. People also use to worship in the name of Christ. On occasion of Christmas , people celebrate with full pith and desire. 200 years old graveyard situated in just front of church. One of the oldest grave of late Rev ilahi baksh easily may see.
