I had wanted to learn pottery for the longest time...finally got the opportunity to learn and in Vinod sir I got the best teacher I could have asked for. His skill is amazing and his patience level with the students makes it easy to learn. There were times when I lost my control at the wheel...he came along and helped get back the grip on the clay and then there was no looking back. Sir makes learning an enjoyable and fulfilling journey and he teaches you how to connect with the earth and be grounded. I could not have asked for any better teacher than him. Thank you sir.

Learning pottery was one of the best decisions I made, and couldn't have found a better teacher than Vinod Dubey Sir at Mitty Pottery Studio! Working with clay has been extremely therapeutic, and rewarding! For someone who hadn't made anything with her hands since school, pottery has been very gratifying, and absolutely delightful! If you are procrastinating about learning some kind of art form, I would highly recommend taking pottery classes at Mitty, with one of the most warm and patient teachers you'll ever meet.

I did the Basic Wheel Pottery Course in early 2020 at the Mitty Pottery Studio in Versova. It has been an absolutely enlightening experience to learn from Vinod Sir. Pottery is a lot about instinct, letting go and being okay with losing control. It is about serenading the clay lightly and allowing it to come alive the way it wants. With his teaching: his words, his silence and most importantly his observations, Vinod Sir has deftly inculcated this understanding in me. Without me noticing! He has a way of identifying the style, temperament and pace of his students and adapting his approach. Apart from the skill itself, I built a lifelong relation with 'mitti' and I am grateful to Vinod Sir for enabling this. In return for my authentic, sincere desire to learn the art of clay, each class richly rewarded me with hour long sessions of therapy that brought me closer to myself. I highly recommend this class.

From watching others playing with clay to watching myself give shape to mitty has been a beautiful journey! It's joyous, therapeutic and teaches you a lot patience but it wouldn't have been so easy without a great teacher like Vinod Sir. He gives you the time and space to make mistakes, learn, try your own thing but with very strong basics in mind. It's an extremely warm and welcoming place where you meet amazing people, learn a new form of art, make something special or even buy something beautiful!!
