All the staff here are very helping. They swiftly cleared all doubts which I had. Also the process here is very smooth and fast. The only downside is that if you are visiting here with your family, then please note that there is no sitting area here, even for the applicant. Only the applicant can enter, when his/her appointment begins, therefore the family will have to stay outside standing. One more thing, electronic gadgets are not allowed inside (including phone). This are not big issues. I am just pointing out everything, I encountered. Summary: Your work will be done as fast possible here and people here are helping.

One of the best consulates in the world , indeed a beautiful location on Carmichael Road in Mumbai. Efficient , very low cost visas , politeness personified, with punctual and genuine service. Hats off to the Japanese.

Very friendly staff. Got Visa applications submitted very quickly, in a matter of minutes. Also took care of proper distancing and sanitation measures.

They are taking all the safety measures during this time of pandemic. Applying for visa doesn't take much time if all your documents are correct. Staff is polite and helpful. Electronic gadgets are not allowed in the office premises.

I have been there for my JAPAN VISA stamping. They are very fast in issueing VISA, within 4 working days I collected mine. Just don't forget to carry COE, resident track and VISA application form.
