Finest place situated in Mahim to try out authentic maharashtrian cuisine!! Beautiful warm and cozy ambience which gives the feel of typical marath Wada style charm.. The owner himself Mr. Suhas. Awchat is a very humble, warm and well known personality, Mrs. Deepa Awchat who is a master chef and the master mind behind all the three outlets they own namely Diva Maharashtracha, Goa Portuguesa, and Dakshin Curry Culture has curated each and every dish personally. You can definitely feel the personal touch in almost everything served here as none of the dishes that we devoured were over the top spicy and was tastefully done to perfection in terms of taste, quantity, and quality!! I would highly recommend you to try Malvani bombil fry it was the best Kaju kothimbir wadi was bliss Mutton saoji was delicious and ambotik is highly recommended Prawns kalwan had beautiful base of cocconut with tangy notes tasted absolutely soulful with steamed rice !! Lastly we had dudhi halwa which wasn’t mushy infact it had a slight bite to it which was perfectly sweet and garnished with lots of dryfruits, loved it They even have some ready to cook masalas and a recipe cookbook curated by Mrs. Deepa which one can purchase and create magic from the comfort of their home for the entire family

This is a nice, happening place that can be visited with family or friends. The environment is casual. The place is popular with college students and aged patrons alike. Atmosphere is a mix of retro and glimpse of rural village style homes. There is a plenty of food options from Indian to continental. It was a pleasant surprise to see a number of vegetarian options alongside non-veg dishes. Liquor is served. Live guitar is played right at your table on demand. Staff is friendly and service is nice. The place does not play very loud music, which is welcome respite from many other clubs and you can comfortablely chat. All in all, recommended.

Diva maharashtracha restaurant is located in mahim. actually it's inside of goa portuguesa restaurant. they have 3 sections which are goa portuguessa, diva maharashtracha and dakshin culture curry. it is the only restaurant where you will get goan food, maharashtrian food and south indian food. I visited here with my friends. we tried following food items. chicken konkani hirve fry - 8 pieces of boneless chicken served with mint chutney. chicken was juicy and tender. kolimbichi karanjee - i had karanjee many times but this karanjee was different. there was prawns stuffed inside of karanjee. this dish was very unique and delicious. prawns were so creamy and cheesy. malwani fry bombil - crispy fried bombil served with mint chutney. prawns kalwan - prawns yellow curry goes well with rice. it is sufficient for 2-3 people. it was so yummy. kolhapuri chicken pandhra rassa - pandhra means white and rassa means gravy in marathi. chicken pandhra rassa is a famous dish from kolhapur. Pandhra Rassa is a white colored flavoured chicken gravy. nagpuri saoji mutton - saoji mutton is famous dish from nagpur. mutton was soft and juicy. Dessert - kharwas Kharwas is the marathi name of a sweet pudding made out of milk. Overall good experience of diva maharashtracha

Diva Maharashtra has earned the title Diva with their food, hospitality and authenticity. We ordered a various wide range of Marathi Cuisine and was amazed with the quality and the quantity both. The flavours that ooens your taste buds and till the dessert which gives you the cherry on top. You can visit the place in Mahim if you want to try authentic marathi cuisine. Over all I give the place a 5 on 5 for all the food and the hospitality both. Thank You.
