Like all great Teachers, he challenges her, but still makes it fun. I would highly recommend Ivin to work with any level of guitarist - beginner, intermediate or advanced or even beyond. He is a WONDERFUL guitar player and understands the need of each student. My daughter takes one hour lesson every week and he gives a lot to work on for the week and also makes her realize where she is headed over the next couple of lessons. My search for a perfect Guru for my daughter ended with Ivin.
