Few old instruments used to make maps and land records are kept here. There are a few maps and records on display. Dont actually get to see many old original records or maps. Many more things can be included to make the museum interesting.

This museum was set up when I was the Settlement Commissioner of Maharashtra, in 2004. The intention was to showcase the history of land records in our country from ancient days to the modern times. We could collect some interesting maps, instruments and documents which gave a fair idea of how land was settled, measured and records made. Public in general and students in particular will benefit by visiting this museum. T.C.BENJAMIN IAS Retired

Well i didn't went here for any land related matter. I went for my college internship issue. Office was on 3rd building and in third floor . Upsanchalak karyalay. 6 of us students of AYUSH were demanded to pay internship completion fees which was not applicable for us as we were from government college. We went to meet the related officer. The staff was very supportive here, instead they encouraged us for our step to meet with the officer. Sir was very professional an polite with us. We told our matter in front of him , then he inquired about the matter & took the needed action without any delay, and at last he gave us the letter with his signature to submit to the office which asked for that fees. Really it was a great experience.
