If you're lucky enough to have friends who are studying here, pay them a visit. It takes experiencing the ambience, atmosphere, and culture of Brahmaputra Hostel, JNU to know why (and possibly how) it's possible for diversity with varying yet contrasting opinions (of which ever possibility one is considering, political for example) to exist in harmony and self-sustainability. A microcosm of the project of the Idea of India? Perhaps One would like to believe so. Hoping you would agree on your visit here at the earliest from when this is written...

Accommodation for senior phd students of JNU. Cool place surrounded by natural greenery. Dhaba and tea points makes this place a complete joy

Though I am not a resident of the hostel. But I have been there many times for food. Hostel building and rooms are pretty good. Though they could be better and administration should look into it.

It's a PhD scholar's boys hostel located in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. This is one of the finest hostels in campus. Room are single seaters for phd students and this hostel is also known as Poorvanchal Hostel.
