I bought a 1965 Vespa & sidecar through eBay on 10th March 2019, with promises of delivery to the UK in three months. I didn't hear anything for a month, so I cancelled the payment, but then Madaan Motors got in touch to say it was on the way. For months there was all sorts of misinformation, saying it was on a ship, when it wasn't. Amazingly, one day, I had notification that it was actually on a ship, and I could track the info, so knew it was correct. I finally received the crate on 29th August, when I ordered it to use for our wedding on 6th July. Now I have the scooter, I like it but it wasn't refurbished very well by UK standards, so I am going through and improving several things and making it road legal for the UK. The total cost is almost double the initial price of the scooter, taking in to account shipping (400), port handling charges (400 due to the size of the crate because of the sidecar) and various things that need putting right, and that's with me doing all the work. Essentially, I like it and intend to keep it but originally had no idea it would take so long, that the standard of refurb would only be about 6 out of 10 and the total cost would be so high. The photos show the scooter looking much the same way as it arrived (different seat) but after some work to improve various electrical connections, replace self tapping screws etc

Stay away from this shop and its owner Arun. This guy is a scammer, he will take your money and will never send you the goods. He kept on giving false promises as your shipment has left already but when asked for tracking info, he didnt have any. Upon calling him day and night he gave us a FAKE tracking number. After wasting more then a month I finally received a small batch of shipment and the goods were all wrong. I still havent received a package that was shipped on October 6th (no tracking information was given) and apparently 1 more package on october 20th( Fake tracking information was given). This guy is a total fraud!!! Stay away from his shop. If you want to save money and time, DO NOT BUY OR RENT FROM HIM.
