Rishi Dev Architects & Associates was established in 1998. It is a multi-disciplinary firm. We are steeped in providing planning, design and execution services to a varied range of projects. The firm has adopted a unique approach to design and execution, which follows a strong philosophy. The strong belief that human settlements are guided by a multitude of disciplines, which combine forces to give itself an ever evolving form and structure, leads us into adopting a methodology towards designing which considers the built and the non built environments naturally & mutually inclusive. Henceforth the process of design unfolds and resolves into formulating sustainable patterns of development in a highly participatory process. Thus, the settlements, buildings or spaces we design are not just functionally efficient and aesthetically appealing, but are also economically sound, contextually distinctive and responsive to its surroundings, the user needs and aspirations. Our well-managed team of professionals, consultants and associates create results that exceed all expectations. The approach is participatory and interactive at various levels, encouraging state-of-the-art designs and executions. We also have a strong belief in the traditional systems of architecture and arts as were theorized in ‘The Vaastu & Shilpa Shastras. These are often misunderstood and mixed with religious dogma. We strongly believe and follow those traditional principles of design and building adapted in the modern context. Hence in all our works the importance is not given to ‘what we want our buildings to be’, but is always given to ‘what the buildings want to be’.
