This is part of the complex holding the remains of the founder of Tughlaqabad. An incredible place! Crumbling Tughlaqabad - the massive third city of Delhi (the circumference of the outer walls is nearly 60km)was built in the 14th century for a mere 5 years (and abandoned nearly as quickly afterwards). this is an incredible site and a beautiful and majestic place to stroll among the ruins of Delhi's past. This is definitely one of the top historical sites to visit in Delhi and I would strongly recommend putting it on your itinerary.

There exists a commoner's tomb named after commoner Zafar Khan next to the Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq Maqbara opposite to the Tughlakabad Fort. This tomb also known as Daud Khan tomb due to a wrong reading of the inscription.
Part of tughlakabad Fort... Good place to explore ancient property and for photo clicks
One time visit place, for the sake of the enriching history of India and this is a part of it. Winter visits only. Too hot in summers
The Zafar khan Tomb is located within the enclosure of Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq Tomb, the plaque says he was one of the general of the Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq ,who died in battlefield.

Hizabruddin, better known by his title Zafar Khan, was a general of the Delhi Sultanate ruler Alauddin Khalji. He held charge of Multan, Samana, and Sivistan at various times during Alauddin's reign. We careful because there are many monkeys.
