I know Raj and his baby - Performance Automobiles since 2004, while I was in the IAF Adventure Cell as deputy director. We did a lot of work together - converting Maruti Gypsies to rally spec. He also did a superb job in providing leather seat covers for a microlight aircraft which I flew would the world and set a record. On a personal level, Raj converted my Mahindra Thar to what I belive is the best job in India. And it's back with him for another upgrade. The work ethics of Performance are impeccable, as is the workshop and staff. They know their stuff. Any errors are promptly taken care off and Raj is always accessible. I strongly recommend Performance Automobiles as the go to destination for any vehicle upgrades and also routine maintenance. You would be surprised and happy at the end result.

They know their job but no one seems to be interested in doing it. They don't hesitate in promising you the best of quality and workmanship but conveniently forget about it once you hand them over the vehicle. They will do the job after multiple follow ups but your satisfaction level will depend on how many flaws you are willing to ignore to put an end to it rather than on their workmanship. Unfortunately not too many options in the market offering good quality modifications so you still end up outside their door.
Gave them a brand new shinny thar.. got back a old looking dented, cracked paint, noisy thar back. Design only looks good not practical. Anyone above 5.5 feet height cant sit in the rear seat cos the roof is low. The back door design sucks. U have to get down and open the door from outside cos of the stupid locking system doesnt open from inside. The car has become heavy and lost power cos if the snorkel design. The car that is less than six months old is rusting. Interiors strached and dull. Exteriors look sratched and old. After spending an additional 4lakhs. Selling the car cos feel disgusted everytime sitting in it.
