Tawak is a small but a good fine dining restaurant. It offers great ambience, good service and Great food be it Tandoori or Chinese with reasonable prices. Interiors are contemporary. Restaurant has small sitting so it is advisable to book table before visiting. Alcohol is not served.

Came to know this place though google search results and after seeing the reviews tried this place. It was worth the try. They have a very unique theme and ambiance! Pretty decent place to dine out with family or friends. They have a good variety of food menu ! The starters are good and the portion served are worth the cost! Would recommend this place if you stay nearby

I saw that this restaurant has a very high rating and decided to try it out. So ordered home delivery. To begin with, must say that Mr. Negi was very polite & amicable. The prices being on the higher side, decided to try three items. Red thai veg curry which has received a lot of rave reviews. Egg fried rice & sichuan vegetables. The red curry was great - no doubt - good flavours of lemon grass with a full taste - really enjoyed it with plain rice. The portion was also pretty good. The egg fried rice was well done - nothing to complain about. The size was normal. The sichuan vegetables was good - for the first time, i saw that a restaurant has actually used sichuan pepper. But the mix of vegetables could have been better - there was just too much cauliflower - it didnt feel so chinese. But i am impressed. They also served a nice hot sauce - chilli garlic type which i greatly enjoyed. What i didnt like was that they took 1hr 45min to deliver though the expected time was around an hour - the delivery guy said traffic jam delayed him - possible. Also some of the curries had spilled & the pouch containing soya sauce had completely spilled out. The packing needs to be improved. Overall , pretty good food - a 4.5, but delivery time & packing is not up to the mark.

Was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience I had - starting with the welcome Thai poochka to the finishing the meal with Jasmine tea - it's an experience I recommend for everyone!!! Let's get started with the ambience it's pretty contemporary with the rustic touches thrown to add to the overall appeal of the place like the lights handing on top of the table via a thick jute rope. Coming to food... We enjoyed a complete feast in sort!!! Veg starters: Dahi ke kebab (not your usual dahi ke kebab) Tandoori paneer roll Nadru ki Shammi Kurkure Khumb Cripsy water chestnuts (highly recommended - we ordered it twice & house speciality) Cottage cheese red chilli orange sauce (must try) Non veg starters: Pudina bhuni machchi Bbq soy murg flatbread Tandoori harissa wings (must try) Mutton Galauti ulte tawe ka paratha (must try) Star anise chicken crispy spinach Wok tossed lemon pepper fish (must try) Veg mains: Paneer khatta pyaaz (paneer with twist) Palak mushroom ke kofte Tawak special dal makhani (house speciality & very light and subtle flavours - must try) Red Thai veg curry Stir-fry bokchoy & chestnuts (very unique flavour) Non veg mains: Tawak murg (house speciality) Chettinad murg Laal Maas (it's in South Indian flavour) Pan grilled fish roasted garlic basil Shredded chicken pickled chilli coriander root In breads we ordered: Hari mirch pyaaz ki roti (Dont forget to order it) Cheese jalapeno Kulcha (eat it while it's hot) Jodhpuri paratha And the ginger water chestnuts rice. We washed down all the food with: Natkhat Narangi (Must try) WatBeCo Mojito Frozen mint margarita And when we couldn't eat anymore the dessert arrived. Kesar badaam phirni Walnut topped brownie And handmade ice-cream (must try) After all this we were offered the Jasmine tea - which we graciously accepted and it smelled amazing. Full marks goes to the staff who were polite & quick.

A little gem of a restaurant in an ordinary looking location with a great ambience once you step inside. The staff is courteous and the service is spot on. They give you good suggestions on food options based on what you would like to try. The food was tasty. Tried chicken talumein soup, dakgangjeong, fried rice and lamb bulgogi. Go there with a good appetite and you won't be disappointed!
