The people used to take boats from him and after use returned back the boats to the owner .later chentara Mohammed mustafa started service rowing boat through the two shores.the fare at that time was 1 naya paisa Later there was custom department was started on the banks .kochi maharajas summer palace was in chowara. Later pwd started platform boat (changadam) tp take vehicles. Chentara sulaiman kochunni was in charge of that The ernakulam -trichur bus route started through this week. Crowd grew and later chentara esmail haji bought motor boat jungar and his family members continued until the new bridge from mahilalayam -thuruthu was built Before building marthanda varma bridge the main access through this way --jungar service It was most time run by chentara family Most reputed person -- chentara esmail Haji Also his father kochunni started the sevices.still this place remain with the intention to help others as she can
