I am one of the most lucky persons of my generation to be taught by a legendary musician like Srikanth sir. His love towards music is immeasurable!!!! The most exuberant, efficient, humble and charming person i have ever seen in my life. His method of teaching is not shallow as others, his approach is extremely holistic as it is very important in music. You will be a better human being after you join him. Best part of him is, he accepts everyone from prince to a pauper. He doesn't judge you at all. He will bring out the best in you. There is only one thing which can stop you learning from him, your "Will power"!!!

Up 100 notches. In the last 3 months I learnt completely a different dimension of the art of playing Tabla. Shrikant Sir gives the platform for students to express their creative self. You will always find expressing himself in classes and that is a start for the students to get the creative juices flowing. We have workshops at regular intervals and we were blessed to have Pt.Ramdas Plasule ji in one such workshop. I am sure all students will remember the wealth of knowledge that was shared that day. Not to forget how deep his knowledge is about the history of Tabla and music. It is a delight to hear him reliving the infancy of Tabla. He is one who would never hesitate to share knowledge and it is a privilege to be attending his classes.

Srikant bhai, I call him “Pandit ji” as he is a musician to the core and a humble person. He is a great percussionist, with Tabla being his soul!! The clarity of “bols” and speed in his playing is awesome. Along with that his knowledge on each aspect of Tabla is excellent!! His devotion towards music and guidance to his students is unparallel. It’s always a fulfilling experience for one and all!!
