Palácio do Deão is a fabulous getaway from the hustle-bustle of Goa's beaches. The owners have poured their heart in keeping up this heritage property, and the delectable six-course meal goes way beyond the humble fee charged for the entire experience! The belvedere chosen for guests' dining is an unforgettable setting, and the authenticity of the food beats the best names in town. Definitely visit the place!

Seemed ok. The price of 150 per head is steep considering the 10 min short tour of the old renovated Portuguese style house. It's hyped to be honest. Greenery and garden are good. One time visit that too if u r really really interested in old antique things n Portuguese history.

A remarkable experience. The host gives everybody a personal tour of this ancient heritage building with its ornate furniture and fittings. This is followed by a tasty home cooked but elaborate goan lunch with a Portuguese touch. After a leisurely lunch one can walk around in the premises with its beautiful gardens and trees situated near the Riverside. It was an enjoyable outing that one should not miss.

Stumbled on this place by accident but has been the best place to eat in Goa so far. The food was outstanding and the house is beautifully done up by Reuben the owner. Must visit even if it is a long trip. They only do lunches and it's better to book ahead since it is a family home and not a restaurant.

Kudos to Ruben, his wife, and team to restore this heritage place with so much love and warmth. They have such good vibes. The delicious food (the best I have ever eaten) is just incidental to the opportunity to meet these wonderful people

Lovely place. Reyben explained the history of the place beautifully. Food was cooked with passion by Celia, his wife, a true Goan treat. Would recommend to try, a must place to visit.

Had a great time here, bookings need to be done usually in advance. The host was very humble and walked us through the place explaining details. Food tasted great. The owner attended us every 10mins to ensure we were contended with everything that was served. Really good service, a must visit place in Quepem.
