Panchayat Well

It is one of the oldest public well located at the borders of Nilamel and Kadakkal Panchayat. It never dries in the summer season and so provides water for the nearby people for washing and bathing in extreme climate. Not much maintenance is done by both panchayat authorities and the condition of this well is degrading everyday. Now it stands as a poster wall for political parties candidates. As the well has not been cleaned for long time; the water is not good for bathing purpose. During extreme summer season, the people residing in the nearby areas still use this well for bathing and washing.
