Ordered dinner from Pashtoon. They specialize in serving Afghani, Mughlai and North Indian food. Kastoori Kebab - Succulent pieces of chicken thigh marinated well with cream and cooked with fluffy beaten egg. This was absolutely delicious. This was something unique and is a MUST TRY!! Kundan Kaliya - Morsels of lamb braised on dum with turmeric and light spices. The curry was light. Paranth ka Gosht – Chunks of lamb on bone, slow cooked along with ginger, garlic, whole garam masala, onion and deseeded plum tomatoes, coriander stems and a composite grounded masala. Murgh Mussalam – This was chicken on bone cooked with onion, coriander seeds, poppy seeds, green cardamom, saffron, ghee and keora. Very delicious! MUST TRY!! This went well with both rice and roti. What initially got me interested in this lovely little place was the name 'Pashtoon'. And true to its name, it turned out to be an absolute cullinary delight. We were a total of 5 friends and barring me, everybody else was a vegetarian. Now, since Pashtoon food is majorly non-vegetarian, I was wondering how good their vegetarian food would be. And just as I was wondering about it all, my doubts were put to rest by the wonderful food that we ordered and were served with. Before I get onto the actual stuff that we ordered, I'd love to take a moment and really appreciate the young founder couple who stopped by our table, spoke to us about length about the idea behind Pashtoon and patiently answered whatever we asked. Wonderful to meet such passionate, young people who are really into what they are doing, with all their heart and soul. Kudos! Now, let's get to the real 'business'. The food that we chose to order were the following (not in any particular order though). - Paneer Tikka - Tandoori fruit chaat - Tandoori phool - Seekh e pashtoon - Peshawari Murg Tikka - Kundan kaliyan - Paraat ka gosht - Dal pashtoon - Gobhi mussalam For breads, we majorly ordered their Khameeri roti and Roghani naan. I'm happy to report that the food that we ordered turned out to be nothing short of brilliant! I am not a big vegetarian food lover, but their tandoori phool took my heart away with the taste of the spices and the overall flavour. Needless to say, the non-vegetarian items that I was served were awesome! I totally enjoyed the afternoon that we spent there. The food, the courteous staff, the place, and ofcourse the discussion session that ensued with the founders - everything was such a delight. I wouldn't only recommend the place but would really love to go back there, just because I don't think anyone else is serving such amazing food here in Delhi-NCR quite as Pashtoon is. ️

Loved the afghani cuisine on offer here. The food was so delicious that i was really licking my fingers. The place is a great takeaway delivery option with 10 ppl seating at the restaurant. The food is amazing ..right from.the chapli kebab to the tikkas and the seekhs..the appetizers were mind blowing. The chef took personal attention to curate the items according to the authentic cuisine. Veg starters like gobhi are great. Loved the chapli kebab and choppan kebabs. The main course like nihari, kundan kaliya and murgh mussalam were awesome..i loved the rogani naan and khamiri roti that was offered.
