On the way to Ahmednagar, we planned to visit this place. We finally went to this place with whole family, and it was overall a great experience. The place is clean with a beautiful sheet of yellow leaves under the shade of green trees all over. Even though the place is crowded on a weekend, it's still feels so peaceful and rejuvenating. Hurda served here was fresh and hot, and we truly enjoyed the time having it with our family. We had Lunch thali just before leaving this place, which was also liked by most of us, and costed us additional for each. Bhajiye, curd and whatever other items we were served was just upto the mark. There are also lot of activities for kids, which kids will surely enjoy. Parking is well organised at this place even on crowded weekends, though you might have to park it in the sun. Overall, as I said, was a great experience, and we certainly hope to visit the place some time again.

One of the best farm restaurants that I've visited around Ahmednagar. "Chickoochi wadi" in marathi means few households around sapota (sapodilla) trees. This place is near "Chas" village on Pune Ahmednagar road, approx. 18 km from Ahmednagar. Farm is of approx 3 acres. During winter months when Jowar (sorghum) is ready, this farm organises half a day unmatched experience where in they serve breakfast snacks, Hurda (specially baked jowar) & then the meals. One can spend time from 11 am till 5 pm. Farm has multiple sapota trees. Green cover of trees is so good that one can sleep peacefully in shade below trees. There are swings, & few play toys for children as well as adults. During other months, they serve meals (Maharashtrian) mostly vegetarian. Food is excellent. We had Hurda which was tasty & servings of jaggery, curd, chutneys. Everything was home made. Service is good. This place is run by Mr Ashok Phalke. He himself is involved in running the place & nice to talk to. Place also has decent toilet facilities. Overall great relaxed experience. One can forget all stresses. Highly recommended.

I have been to this Hurda Party Place in last week of December. Food - 3/5 Chiku Farm 2/5 ( Its very small area ) Hospitallity - 0 The owner appeared very rude. Please dont visit this place if you are with kids. They will reply in very rude language. This is good for senior citizen who want to just have lunch under few chikoo trees. Nothing special here. Find other options if possible.
