I had been suffering from piles for some time when I visited Dr. Gore in Nov'18. He immediately recommended a surgery. The entire process cost me over Rs 85K, which is a significant sum for a piles treatment. While he had promised, I'll never have piles problem again once I go through the surgery, once again it has come back to haunt me. How do you trust in a doctor after this? The continuation is w.r.t the response from the surgeon to my above review. I never said the entire amount was pocketed by the surgeon. Anyone can explore how much such a treatment costs, not to mention, fully knowing the hospital and the procedure while recommending me the same, the estimate I was told by him was about half of what it ended up costing me. As far as unrealistic expectations go, if it's unrealistic to expect to be cured of a common problem when you visit a doctor for treatment, I wonder what is realistic to expect from a doctor really! Btw there was no recurrence, I was not completely cured even for a day. In fact I had to keep going back several times after the surgery just to report that the problem is not yet resolved. The only reason I stopped visiting is because I realized I'm just ending up paying consultation fees and not getting any help other than the comment that it will get better. After waiting for it get better, which it didn't, I had to go through a repeat surgery from another surgeon to finally get the problem solved, who claimed it was not treated properly the first time around. I don't want anyone to take his word for it, but the simple fact that I wasn't relieved even for a day is real fact. So as suggested by Mr. Gore himself, I hope all future patients visit him without having any expectation of getting cured. If they get cured good for them, otherwise just bad luck and a fortune lost.

Dr.Pravin Gore is one of the top Dr's in Mumbai. Operated on me for piles. Im posting this review after a month of my op and i must say that my life has changed and was back to normal within a short period after the op. A superb Human very understanding and calm Dr. I would recommend Dr.Gore any time.
