It is higher judiciary at district level and below the hon'ble High court. Rajkot district and sessions court was previously known as MADHYA SAURASHTRA DISTRICT AND SESSION COURT. After independence, there was a high court existed in current civil court compound. It had a beautiful europian style architecture building. Thought, it was in good condition, unfortunately it was demolished. It's roots more than 100 years in past.
