Location: near to Agnitheertham/ temple. Price: Rs. 70 as on March 2021. Duration: They take you about 20min for ferry / sea boat ride. Age restriction: No (avoid below 5 years) Other features: They provide life jacket. Negative: 1. The life jacket were pretty old and it smells. 2. On weekend , the waiting time is more. 3. Queue on ticket counter is not properly managed.

This boating service is at Rameswaram near the famous Temple. Rs . 70/- is charged per head. 75 persons are taken for a sea ride for 30 minutes per trip. While cruising in the boat, one can have a beautiful view of the temple and the boats in the sea. The life-jackets given to the passengers need washing.
Could not visit due to late arrival. But the people at ticket counter were helpful and provided info regarding the running time and rates. It's open from 6 am to 5.30 pm And the charge is Rs. 70 per head for a thirty minute boating through the shores of Rameswaram
2.5 km travel through the seaways is really worth a try.... But the waiting time little more on holidays.... Would be better if 2 or more boats operate on weekends...
If you are planning to have a boat ride with your family friends then you can have a quick ride here. Ferry charges are very economical rupees 70 per person. Its a 20minutes ride to ocean. If you are a camera lover...then don't forget, as while boarding your ferry you can have some nice shots there.
Nice boating in sea.. but short duration
The boating is a good experience and reasonable. For just Rs 70 per person, it is value for money. They will take you for a round trip about 5-6 km of 20-30 min. The ride over the waves is a mesmerizing experience. The view of Harbour and the city from inside the boat is so nice. One negative side is the condition of Life jackets they give. Most of them are very old and in poor condition. The original shiny orange color of them have faded and most of them are in dirt and grey/black. During this boating I could take few amazing snaps which I am posting here.
