It is a railway station located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, serves Renigunta a suburban area of Tirupati in Chittoor district. People alight here to go to Tirupati and Sri Kalahasti as pilgrimage and also has bus connection to both the places from this Railway station. It is a major junction station with branch lines to Arakkonam Junction and Katpadi Junction via Tirupati Main.

Big junction that situated beside temple town Tirupathi , in midway of Chennai Mumbai route under south central railway division . This was awarded as cleanest railway station of South Central railway with 6 platforms . Lift , foot over bridge is available to move with in it.
Very worst vendors behavior. IRCTC should make enough arrangements for travellers safety.
Well maintained station and junction
Here you can get buses for Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple. Clean railway station of Andhra Pradesh. I came here from Chennai for Darshan at Tirumala Tirupati Balaji Temple (One of the most visited Hindu Temple). Station staff was good and helping nature. I wish to visit here one more time. Nice experience.
I make it a point to go and have darshan of Sri Padmavathy Thayaar at Sri Alamelu Mangapuram and then proceed to have darshan of Sri Venkatachalapathy in the Holy Hills of Thirumala. I save more than an hour by getting down at Renigunta instaead of Tirupati Railway Station. I catch a bus from Renigunta bus stand going towards Tirupati, get down at Sri Ramanujar Circle, then catch a bus or share auto to Sri Alamelu Mangapuram.
This is one of oldest and famous Railway Station in India in Andrapradesh. This was the nearest railway station for the pilgrims to Tirupati. Later Tirupati Station came and some trains are commuting this way. There are several trains that are not touching Tirupati is commuting through Reniguntta Railway Junction. Its only 2 km away from Tirupati.
Good station,,but not much more clean...
