Shatrughan Ghat Aarti- The Satrughan ghat is located in Rishikesh city, in India's Northern state of Uttarakhand, in the foothills of the Himalayas, beside the river Ganga. This river is considered holy by the Hindus n its water is gifted with a special quality of staying fresh even when kept in bottles over a long period of time .There are a number of Ghats (well maintained open bath areas ), beside the Ganga, on both the sides. The Shatrughan Ghat is one among them n is very famous for the evening Aarti .This religious ritual is an integral part of worship ( Pooja) in Hinduism, in which Diyas (lighted oil lamps ) are offered with devotion , along with a prayer sung in the praise of the river Ganga. The Ghats in Rishikesh bring together the devotees and curious sightseers to view this mesmerizing spectacle of Ganga Aarti.

Here you can see Ganga Aarti everyday evening. This is also a ferry station to crossing the mighty River. There are big fishes in the river whom you can feed from here. There are some hawkers who sales food for fishes and puja upakarans like flowers and pradips. this is a holy place of Hinduism.

A Dream Location. Peace of Mind and Energy of Spirituality is here.. A Bank of River Ganges has a Mind blowing view. Best peaceful place I had ever been is This Bank of river. Ganga Aarti at the Time of evening has Surprised me as there is lot of Power spreads in the Air throughout.. Real Indian Rituals and Tradition you can see here. A Calm Ganges spreads a message that Go so long and deep but dont make a Noise.. Love this Creation of God Nature.
