St.Mary's Orthodox Syrian church is an old church built more than 100 years ago. Believers come everyday to seek blessings from the holy virgin Mary as well as from the 4 Metropolitans entombed beside the church. This church was locked for many years due to conflict between orthodox and Jacobite factions. But Finally Supreme court allowed full rights in the church to orthodox factions and now the church is renewed and Holy services are taking place regularly
