A great Church. It has a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Wonderful place for prayer. Great for marriages and holy functions. Has a good parish hall. They have a large parking area.

Nineteenth century church with about 1500 families strong laity. It's the third biggest church in kothamangalam area . Church owns a couple of educational institutions imparting training following Kerala state syllabus Malayalam medium. Standing in the vicinity of the church is a senior secondary school following CBSE syllabus.It has a nice auditorium within the compound with parking for at least 150 cars. A small St George shrine managed by the church and situated about 200 meters from the church is locally known as thekkekurisu. It is thronged by devotees from all religions and Friday morning prayers are hugely popular. The patron saint of the church is saint Stephen whose annual feast is celebrated in the last week of November which is preceded by a week long religious convention. Nice rural ambience to offer prayers.
