New building is being constructed. 100 meters distance from Ghat though Ghat here looks awesome if water is running. Ashram provides food also which is Gujarati only. Self service and clean. Staff is gentle. Only drawback is surrounding area is backward so you won't find facilities like hotels and transportation easily. Hot water is not available as it is newly being constructed so some facilities are yet to be done. Thumbs up for holy premises. Rate no issue but you have to book first before staying

Work is going in Ashram. They are making New building. If you want. Ashram feel Pls don't go here. Because this is a hotel u will we disappointed like us. Cost starts from 800rs with Windows opening in lobby ROOMS ARE VERY suffocating. No geyser - Hardly any Network. I came here seeing the past reviews. But got shocked. Behaviour of the receptionist or swami is - He is Not bothered. Food - Rubber type roti. No Chaas. Subzi was decent. I personally DO NOT recommend for stay. Better go somewhere else.... Swaminarayan Ashrams are superb all across the world. Don't know why such a sorry state here. Shifted to old building - Ganga View. It is heaven. With all the facilities like geyser etc. It is one of the best places to stay near Maa Ganga. Good and airy room. Just a bit pricey but worth it.

The ashram is well maintained and provides prasad all day. For all the Gujarati this is heaven in rishikesh, because they provide Gujarati food same as our home. Also The view from the ashram is awesome no words can explain it you need to feel it to know what i am saying. We visit every Year. Just visit for once and you will love it.

Swami Narayan Ashram is one of the well managed Ashrams in Rishikesh. The main Guruji is very disciplined and devoted. Under Guruji's guidance whole Ashram works well. Ganga Arti arrangements at ganga ghat is very good and having a divine spirituality. Ashram follows the teaching of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.
