It's one of my favourite restaurant and also very Popular restaurant in Madurai. The Food was so tasty and Quality was at it's Best.Maintaining tradition and their way of serving customers was too good. Best restaurant which is located near to Sri Meenakshi Amman Temple. Good place for South Indian Food. Simple and Neat way of preparation of Food. It's one of the unmissable places to go in Madurai. I will recommend this place for all Vegan Lovers.

As a pure non veg lover gave a try for dinner and I liked it. We ordered pongal (2 rounds as given quantity is tiny like 1 full sized idly), onion uthapam, rava dosa, coffee & tea. Given chutney sambar adds more value. Over all satisfied with the taste. You can see this restaurant is full most of the times. Will recommend to any veg food lovers

This is not a fine dining restaurant, unlike most of the other ones for which I've written reviews. This is a very normal food joint - a 'Hotel'. If I had to rate this restaurant only based on the taste of the food, I'd rate 5 stars - considering only traditional South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idly, etc. Haven't tried other add-on dishes like chilly parotta.. they didn't look appetizing to me (peeped at the next table :) ). But like I said, traditional South Indian dishes are very delicious. I tried this place 2 years ago; remembered to go here when I visited Madurai today, was not disappointed at all, this place did treat my taste buds so well, as it did 2 years ago. The overall feel of the place inside can be a little better, hence 4 stars!

Awesome food...if you are looking for the special taste of Madurai food just rush to this restaurant... it's looks quite vintage..but they have enough recipes to activate your taste buds...the restaurant crew know how to manage the customer..the service is very nice...if you have any plan to visit Madurai, don't miss this.. value is quite much than others but it worth for you..

Good south Indian meals for 110, however, they don't accept other than cash, upon requesting, the owner accepted card. Food is good and good quality. Sure to try if you are in madurai

Excellent Vegetarian Restaurant. The name is Modern but they are Classic. Very good food and Excellent Service. South Indian Coffee will attract one again and again.
