Hi Milma team, In the 500 ml packet, MRP is showing 23/- rupees. And all the local shops are taking 24/- rupees from customers. Why it is? Price should taken at it’s maximum that is 23/-. Please respond someone and advise us.

Now well-known by the popular sobriquet ‘MILMA’, Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF) was formed in 1980 as a state adjunct of the National Dairy Programme ‘Operation Flood’. It is a three-tiered organization. At the grassroots level MILMA has 3206 Anand model primary milk co-operative societies as on 31.03.2015 with 9.24 lakh local milk producing farmers as members. These primary societies are grouped under three Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Unions viz TRCMPU for Thiruvananthapuram region, ERCMPU for Ernakulam region and MRCMPU for Malabar region.

The Kerala Cooperative Milk Federation is also referred to as MILMA across the state in Kerala. This place hosts the Federation office headquarters, Milma Bhavan and the retail outlet selling milk and milk products like curd, flavoured yogurt, ghee, buttermilk and ice cream. The outlet opens at 6 am and closes by 9 pm on all days with half hour of lunch break between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm.
