I have no hesitation to recommend Dr. Premkumar for any ortho related issues, He is one among the best doctors available in our country,.My father(Mr P.P.Sasidharan) had undegone an ankle surgery in 2012 and my mother (Mrs Omana Sasidharan)had recently undergone knee joint replacement surgery. We had the best care and services from the doctor and his team before and after surgery in both cases. Both of my parents recovered from their ailments very fast.

I want to extend my sincere thanks to Dr.Premkumar & his entire team for the excellent supportive service at my mother's knee surgery.My Mother ,Mrs.Elsy Jose was suffering from severe osteoarthritic pain for the past 12 years.she underwent both knee replacement surgery with minimally invasive technique at Max care Hospital ,Wadakanchery,in the month of October 2019.she experienced speedy recovery & minimal pain after the surgery.Post-operative care was good. My mom, Mrs. Valsala Kumar, has had knee pain for some time and after meeting Dr. Premkumar Viswanath, who was very helpful with his diagnosis, she decided to go through knee replacement surgery for both of her knees. Surgery went well and Dr. Premkumar assured us that he’s confident in the outcome. This gives us immense hope and relief. They made her walk the day after the surgery with a walker, but after just 48 hours my mum was able to walk on her own without any support. Which was pretty incredible to see. We are home now, and apart from the discomfort due to post surgery swelling and bandages etc. she’s still able to do her physiotherapy exercises and walk inside the house for brief intervals. She’s on pain killers and other medicines, so that’s helping as well. So far we are glad to see the progress and thankful to the doctor and his staff at Max Care Hospital for their expertise and helping us through this process. I’m looking forward to updating this review once after the stitches come out and once more in 3 to 6 months time when life has hopefully returned to normal, or better than normal for my mum.

My aunt was suffering from knee pain for the past 12 years.consulted with so many doctors. At last now Dr. Prem solved it by knee replacement surgery. Both knees are replaced. Two days after the surgery Aunty started doing her daily activities her own without any assistance. DOCTOR is an expert in this area. Very professional, dedicated. I strongly recommend Dr Premkumar and his services.

I underwent the knee replacement - minimally invasive total knee arthroplasty in the month of November, under Dr. Premkumar. The whole process was professional and smooth, almost perfect as to how a medical treatment should ideally be. I was given detailed counselling on what to expect before, during and after the surgery. Dr. Premkumar's team of doctors- Dr Ramachandran and Dr Bijoy and other staff members - Merin, Vijitha and all others were always prompt in responding to any queries and in providing the required assistance. After the surgery, in about 16 hours, I was able to walk (with support, of course). In about 10 days, I could walk without support. Detailed physiotherapy session and do's and don'ts were also informed to me before the discharge. Also worth mentioning is the facilities and overall experience at Max Care.
