Sipahijala used to be a very happening place back then in our childhood days but now it's not. I've visited yesterday & my experience says that it's pathetic, no proper maintenance, very less number & variety of animals. On top of that you'll have to pay twice, first on the entrance gate followed by extremely bad roads heading towards the zoo. Then again on reaching the zoo you'll have to pay for the entry. Overall the experience was quiet bad, definitely not visiting it in the near future.
Great Place to visit if you want to study the animals in the enclosure. If you deeper inside the zoo, there is the NLC (Nature Learning Center), and Nature trail that worth a visit aside from the Zoo animals. For more you can visit the Bamboo plantations & Clouded Leopard National park inside the Sepahijala (Permissions might be required to visit). Negative Point includes the fact that the cages arent properly maintained
Issues with maintenance was there. But had some unique animals especially in primates and aviary section!!!
Nice but need to improve and need to clean the Cage of animals and need some fresh drinking water facilities
Animals must be kept with more care and aesthetically pleasing.They suffer from heat stroke and sunrays
Small quantities animals there & they having poor health condition seemed they are on the way to vanish. Concern Dept't are doing bad with them !
