Vaidyagrama is an authentic space for healing and it truly lives upto its name and reputation. I came here in pain, having tried all possible allopathic options with no positive outcome. Just as I was beginning to lose my hope to regain my normal mobility, I was encouraged by an American friend from California to try this traditional and ancient, time proven Indian medicinal system of Ayurveda practised at Vaidyagrama. The results were magical, I realised it was not just the medicines, therapies and carefully designed nutritional diet that were working, it was the entire ambience and the positive energy of this place that was letting the body heal itself. It’s no wonder that patients who come here are bonded with Vaidyagrama for ever! I met many patients who keep coming back every year for panchkarma to rejuvenate their mind, body and soul. Just being here for a few weeks is enough to recharge your system and to get you ready to face the daily grind. I wish to express my gratitude to Dr. Ramananda, The medical director and his team of young doctors - Dr. Anupama, Dr. Vinodh and outstanding therapists - Suraj, Vinodh, Santosh who were attached to Ilam 4 where I stayed for 25 days. Not to forget Dr. Ramdas, even though he was not directly treating me, his melodious and powerful voice during the morning and evening prayers had its own therapeutic power. I loved being in the Satsangs of Dr. Ram kumar who so eloquently helped us understand the philosophy of ayurveda and its practical aspects for good health and vitality. His vision and commitment to maintain the highest standards of care and treatment at Vaidyagrama is worth admiring. Coming to Vaidyagrama is like traveling straight to the heart of the ancient Ayurvedic tradition. Everything about the way they live and provide healing here is so authentic and so full of wisdom and compassion that anytime you choose to spend here will no doubt help you see yourself, your health, and your life completely differently. My last visit to Vaidyagrama was a 3 week treatment. The environment is quiet and conducive to healing. I could feel the healing effects for months after my treatment. I'm not great with food, but I continue to improve with each effort I make. The Doctors and staff are wonderful. They feel like family. The daily schedule is in harmony with the cycles of nature, and you get a taste of what life can be like in this rhythm.

They have everything from your food and socializing time regulated in order to give your body time to go through the treatment and heal in its own time. Doctors, therapists and staff outstanding! I feel the food can have more variety and taste for sure as we ended up losing weight due to the monotony and variety. Room services could be upscaled to say bedside lamps, rugs and better service of food. A few rooms with aircon a must as it became hard to get a full nights rest while we were there in May.
