I love this beach near coastal Battery, where the waves touches the stones . The view is very beautiful. If any calamity is there in Bay of Bengal that can be noticed from here observing the speed of waves on the rocks. All TV people and nature lovers flock here and enjoy the waves in cyclonic weathers.

This is a Naval Command Centre. It needs a pass to get through, so be sure you know someone from Defence services. We went here for an evening of drinks and dinner. It's a beautiful place. Where we ate, was a party hall and restaurant called "Sheet Bend". The food was tasty. We had chicken lollipops, egg burji, peanuts Masala, French fries, fish fingers, chilli chicken, crispy corn. All of these were tasty dishes and the service was quite quick and efficient. For drinks and snacks, the garden is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy. For dinner, you can sit inside the restaurant itself. The parking was at a huge helipad so it was really spacious and our 1.5 year old daughter really enjoyed running around in the open space. For dinner, we had phulkas, mushroom curry, Dal fry and chicken curry which were OK. Snacks were so good that dinner didn't really matter!! All in all, it was a good experience.

Its a Naval Defense Area which has residential area as well as a restaurant and a party hall named 'Sheet Bend'. For defense people its a place must visit in case they cone to Vizag for the first time.
