Malshej boost of a large number of waterfall scattered all around the ghat section. There is a big waterfall near a tunnel section which actually is a ghat to descend the malshej. This is a old ghat route which connected Taleran wadi to Titbhi and savarne. It was extensively use by the locals before the construction of Malshej highway. It is said in historical documents that Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj descended this small route to reach kalyan from junnar. The trail/Ghat has few water tank, known as Haud in marathi so it known as Haudachi vaat or Nishani ghat.

Always wanted to visit Malshej Ghat, which is set in sylvan surroundings and is perfect getaway. This place is a dream come true. Malshej Ghat has on offer things to do that will enthrall and keep its visitors busy. For the outdoor enthusiast and the adventure seeker, there are trekking trails in the surrounding hills to be traversed, for the nature lover there are gushing waterfalls and the verdant flora and fauna to be enjoyed, and bird enthusiast like me are thrilled at the sight of the pink flamingoes that swoop down here. It took us four hours to reach, but the journey itself is beautiful.
Enjoyed a lot...the water was clear..road was fine and the weather was good too..good for a single day trip :)
A beautiful scenery and calm place
Very nice climate. Amazing views
Amazing Malshej...Was craving to experience you...And when I saw you, I was all for you.... Loved being in your lap at this time of year though I know that you feel even better in the rainy season...It was a sumptuous experience when we went under one of your fall...I admit that you are adorable and your twists and turns and the pampering falls are too good.
Less crowded due to pandemic. Went with family and friend. Nice place to hangout, site scenes, one or two waterfalls were active, couple of places for photo scenic session.
I'm sure it will be great experience there, but I visited off season there ,so didn't saw any .
