It's a memorial built for fallen soldiers of the Madras Regiment, the oldest regiment of the Indian Army. Unfortunately, it's built on a busy traffic island within a military cantonment, so you can't stop there and drift around to view the memorial in detail. It would make sense for the Madras Regimental Centre nearby to move the memorial to a public location with parking facilities where people can visit, understand the Regiments glorious history and traditions, hold ceremonies, remember old colleagues & pay their respects to these braves.
