This imambara had a boundary wall when it is built, covering one tomb situated east of this site. By time passing the wall has been demolished. There was a small spice grinder shop, (can be seen in one of my fotos)but in the year 2010 when delhi was getting develop for the common wealth games this monument restored and illegal encroachment taken out.

It is constructed of rubble masonary, contained originally open arcades on all its sides. Five bays of the roof are covered with domes and the remainders are vaulted internally and flat on top. This C-shaped monument belongs to afghan period. Originally the Imambara was situated in an enclosure and there was a tomb towards east of the Imambara. At present this enclosure has disappeared but the tomb is in existence. #ImamBara
