This place of Zone 3 provides great sighting opportunity for Wildlife lovers. Great Tigress of her time Machali once ruled in this zone and has contributed at least 50 individuals in the gene pool of this reserve. As per 2018-19 her grand daughter Arrowhead rules this zone and can be seen with cubs.

Jogi Mahal offers a splendid view of the lake, its surroundings and the green forests stretching for miles beyond. In the olden times, Jogi Mahal served its purpose of being a hunting abode for the kings of Jaipur and their royal guests and other dignitaries. When the authority of the Maharaja dynasty faded out, Jogi Mahal was then turned into a guest house catering to visitors of Ranthambore. But that too has been stalled of late. Now it stands as an abandoned but proud reflection of true Rajasthani architecture at its finest.

This is a forest department rest house where travelers use to take rest after a long days exploration. The adjoining Padam Talab is another attraction of the place that leaves travellers amazed by its serene beauty. Next to the Jogi Mahal is an ancient banyan tree, the second largest banyan tree in India. Located beside the Padam Talab, Jogi Mahal is a rich collection of the heritage of Jaipur Jogi Mahal in Ranthambore, which was initially built as a hunting lodge by the royal family of the Jaipur which was used by many Maharajas for the same purpose. Although accommodation is not permitted here now, visitors use this place to assuage themselves and get mesmerized by the scenic beauty as well as the architecture of the Heritage in Ranthambore. Second largest Banyan tree of the India, standing next to the Mahal is worth an applause. The beautiful combination of the Padam Lake with the Mahal makes an adamant mark on the visitors memories. People here can make themselves comfortable and regain energy for the next trip. The availability of food and water at this attraction in Ranthambore makes this place more favorable for relaxing physically as well as mentally.7

My wife and I were very lucky to have spent two nights there when it was a guesthouse. The only light was provided by oil lamps and candles. We were there at the Diwali festival and the staff placed candles all around the building. It was magical! The only downside was that we didn't see a tiger.
