The visitor center is closed these days. The pictures in the gallery are mostly Ajanta caves and not the visitors center. Don't get confused.
It's very well managed. You don't get many restaurants though. However very well organised in terms of tickets and all. You can hire guide there as there is lot of history behind the pictures and it's more fun if you have someone explains you the facts. People there are helpful and cooperative. Alternatively you can buy a guide book which explains well all counters of cave. Have a nice trip.
