Bharat Jal is a technology-driven, quality conscious water-treatment and water technology initiative. Founded in February 2017 under the aegis of Faat City Tech Pvt. Ltd, Bharat Jal is the brainchild of Mr. Feroz Malik. With the intention of establishing 2000LPH small water plants at multiple locations in the Delhi/NCR Region and supplying water through electric 3-wheeler vending machines, Bharat Jal is set to revolutionize the process of getting clean, drinking water in the country. The initial focus of Bharat Jal will be on supplying treated water in South Delhi, which will gradually expand to the Capital and eventually map the entire nation. Bharat Jal intends to supply this clean and safe drinking water to the locals through mobile water ATMs, making it easily accessible and cost-friendly. While a number of companies and organizations have taken the initiative to provide clean, drinking water for all, this is not without a few challenges. Securing government funding for water projects leans more towards the lowest-cost bidder rather than favoring quality and solution-durability providers and the absence of economically viable products make capital expense recovery difficult due to high costs which limits overall profitability. Bharat Jal aims to solve this very problem and changing the landscape of the community water sector by bridging the gap between economic feasibility and quality, making it a viable sector for the government to invest in, along with providing quality, drinking water to all.
