Great place for half a day trip... However too costly!! Entry ticket for 4-wheeler is Rs 500 Another Rs. 1500 for private boat (2 hrs)... If you want for unlimited time, you'll have to shell out another 1500. Better to go with friends or share with someone.

Serene, calm and amazing place. Boat rides here are one of a kind experience and cherry on the cake is, delicious kathiyavadi food cooked on hearth on an isle. Keep your bargaining skills on before getting on a boat and contact ticket counters before making any payments to the helm.

Nal Sarovar lake is a Bird Sanctuary spread in the area of 120 Sq-KM, a serene marshland with shallow waters. It has been declared as a “Ramsar site-Wetland of International importance". It offers an ideal wintering ground for thousands of migratory birds. More than 200 species of resident birds are also found here.

The best time to visit Nalsarovar is during winter as guided by local fishermen. The boats are costly as they charged around 3200 INR for a whole round. There were no food facility available during this period on the main island, but it was said to us that they serve typical Gujarati food on island during winters.
