About 1.5 km to the south-east of Dilkusha lies the Bibiyapur kothi. It was built by the Nawab of Awadh Asaf-ud-Daula (1775-97)AD. The name of kothi attributed to a village located nearby known as Bibiyapur. The kothi was offered by the British Resident to King Wajid Ali Shah in February 1856 for his permanent residence at Lucknow with a substantial pension if he agreed to sign his abdication. Wajid Ali Shah refused and this followed the annexation of Oudh by the British East India Company and to exile of the deposed King Wajid Ali Shah to Calcutta..
It's must visit place for some seeking Vintage architecture in Lucknow, and also for someone who like to explore new places though this kothi doesn't have huge area but yeah one can go atleast once or twice lastly perfect place for Photoshoot.
बिबियापुर कोठी का निर्माण अवध के शासक आसिफ़िदुल्ला ने करवाया था। यह कोठी गोमती नदी के किनारे पर स्थित है और अभी भी घने जंगल के बीच मे है। इस कोठी का डिजाइन सम्भवतः अंग्रेज अफसर गोर ने तैयार किया था।यह कोठी दिलकुशा कोठी से लगभग डेढ़ किलोमीटर दूर स्थित है।इस कोठी को शिकारगाह के रुप में प्रयोग किया जाता था ।अवध के नवाबो के बाद इस कोठी को अंग्रेजो ने कब्जा लिया और यहाँ पार्टियां होती थी।अब यह कोठी वीरान पड़ी है और पुरातत्व विभाग के संरक्षण में है।इसे मैने गूगल पर मार्क किया।
